Central Florida Roadtrip takes viewers through the history and stories that helped shape the country’s largest tourist destination. Hosted by Phil Hoffman, the series explores the communities and history across the nine-county Central Florida area. Locations include: Sanford, Orlando, Cocoa Beach, Winter Garden, DeLand, Eatonville and Ocala, plus special episodes focused on the military, parks of the past, haunted locations and other landmarks.

Central Florida Roadtrip is produced by WUCF, and airs as part of Hometown Create, which spotlights locally produced content from Create's member stations.

Episode #107 · Central Florida Road Trip pays a visit to Lake County and the city of Tavares. Join us as we discover the city's rich history, how it got its name, and how it became known as "America's Seaplane City". We'll take you for a cruise though the Dora Canal and go for a train ride as well. Plus find out what NASCAR legend was born in Tavares.

Episode #108 · Central Florida Road Trip pays a visit to Brevard County and the Melbourne/Eau Gallie area. Did you know that Melbourne's history dates back to prehistoric times and that the city was actually founded by freed slaves? We will explore the history behind Naval Air Station Melbourne, Overland Park, the Rossetter House, Green Gables and the largest community-built zoo in the world.

Episode #109 · Central Florida Road Trip explores Flagler County. Did you know that size-wise, Bunnell is the second largest city in the state of Florida? We'll learn what is happening at Marineland and what ever happened to Marco Polo Park. We will explore the Bulow Plantation, the Flagler Beach Arts project and the home of a real princess.

Episode #110 · Central Florida Roadtrip stops in Oviedo. Originally settled due to its proximity to Lake Jessup. This agriculture town epitomizes Central Florida, from alligators, to citrus to modern development. Plus an odd connection to the assassination of Abraham Lincoln.

Episode #111 · Central Florida Roadtrip brings us to Deland. From a beginning as just a small hollow, through investment and agricultural struggles, to the modern development and attractions we see today, Deland has quite the story.

Episode #112 · Central Florida Roadtrip makes some spooky stops at haunted spots! From the world famous "Psychic Capital of the World" to the Ghost Tours of Sanford, we'll take a trip through Central Florida's paranormal past and hear some unbelievable stories along the way.

Episode #113 · Central Florida Roadtrip takes flight at Kennedy Space Center! This center for the nation's space program houses more than just the future of rocketry, but also a deep history of the space industry and human space travel.
