Create Marathons


Settle in each weekend to watch your favorite shows in one binge-worthy format. Each Saturday and Sunday, Create airs a programming marathon centered around a theme — a holiday, a country, a particular food, even a single show. All the excitement of a marathon without leaving your couch!

Apr. 8 & 9

On the Farm

With Spring in full bloom, Create devotes six hours to farm-fresh meals. Follow ingredients from the fields of North Carolina and the rooftops of New York all the way to the dinner table. Join Vivian Howard, Sara Moulton, Andreas Viestad, Joe Lamp’l, Joanne Weir and others they transform the cream of the crop into delicious dishes — from duck confit salad with raisins, fennel, and apple to root vegetable latkes and candied yams. Eating local never tasted so good! The marathon airs on Saturday from 6:00 am - 12:00 pm ET, with encores on Saturday from 6:00 pm - 12:00 am ET and Sunday from 12:00 pm - 6:00 pm ET.

Boston Strong

Bask in the best of Beantown this weekend — from its culinary specialties to its historic hot spots. Hometown hero Ming Tsai hosts a fellow Boston chef for a lesson on cooking a whole fish. Martha Stewart bakes a trio of New England classics, including cheddar-crusted apple pie, brown bread and deep-dish lemon-blueberry tart. Artist Eric Dowdle captures the sights of “America’s Hometown” in nearby Plymouth, Mass. And Colleen Kelly takes her family on fun and educational excursions through the city. Shrimp Delight

This weekend, Create’s culinary pros transform this tasty crustacean into a variety of delicious starters and entrees. Kevin Belton prepares a trio of classic New Orleans-style shrimp specialties. Nick Stellino whips up pasta with shrimp and zucchini. America’s Test Kitchen’s Elle Simone makes the ultimate shrimp scampi. Ellie Krieger shows a harried family how to incorporate shrimp in a healthy weeknight dinner. And Jacques Pépin takes on a classic — spicy shrimp with cocktail sauce. Pati’s Cinco de Mayo Party

Feliz de Cinco de Mayo! Join Create this weekend for a special marathon of the Emmy- and James Beard Award nominated Mexican cooking and travel series, Pati's Mexican Table. Join chef Pati Jinich on her culinary adventures through Mexico as she creates delicious dishes, including carnitas, dulce de leche cheesecake, honey chipotle ribs, sweet corn tamales, crab cakes with Jalapeño aioli, chorizo hamburgers and a grilled pineapple margarita.
