Spirit of the Emerald Isle

Escape to the Emerald Isle with Create this St. Patrick's Day weekend. The marathon kicks off with Globe Trekker’s spirited food tour of Ireland — as Bobby Chinn samples everything from oysters in Galway to Guinness in Dublin. Then, the late-great Julia Child makes classic Irish soda bread with the legendary food writer Marion Cunningham. And travel pros Rick Steves, Joseph Rosendo, Rudy Maxa and Colleen Kelly venture from Dublin to Dingle to take in Ireland’s top historical and cultural attractions.

Spring Fling

Think Spring this weekend with the help of Create's expert chefs, gardeners, painters and bakers! P. Allen Smith uses elements from the garden and spice rack to make natural Easter egg dyes. Joanne Weir incorporates seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs in a hearty panzanella salad. Julie Taboulie offers a Lebanese take a springtime classic — roasted leg of lamb. And Bob Ross paints a picturesque mountain scene of a chilly spring morning.
