Music Voyager follows host Jacob Edgar [pictured] – an ethnomusicologist, cultural musician and music critic – as he searches the globe for the best in world music.

Jacob talks to local musicians in the cities he visits and educates viewers on the musical techniques and instruments used in different parts of the world.

In addition to uncovering some of music’s most exotic sounds, Jacob also samples the cuisine, tours the sights, and experiences the night life. Music Voyager presents viewers a backstage pass to the history, culture, and musical talents of countries including India, Jamaica, Colombia and the United States.

Music Voyager airs Tuesdays and Thursdays on Create^® beginning May 23.

Also in May, Rick Steves journeys to Iran in the hopes of getting to know this ancient country in the one-hour special Rick Steves’ Iran – airing May 31.

In addition, new seasons of Fon’s and Porters Love of Quilting and American Woodshop will begin airing May 31.
